When it comes to ease of use and functionality BPsnmpMon is an invaluable tool for monitoring network traffic, storageutilization and processor load. BPSNMPMon is a SNMP (simple Network Management Protocol) utility that will monitor host processor, storageand interface values. BPSNMPMon performs various SNMP queries at a user-defined time interval and graphically represents the informationin a simple user friendly interface. The current SNMP query results are displayed in a gauge as a percentage and also in a historicaluser-definable value graph. For each SNMP community/host BPSNMPMon queries the HOST-RESOURCES-MIB (management InformationBase) (RFC2790) hrProcessorEntry table. For each hrProcessorFrwID oid (Object IDentifier) the corresponding hrProcessorLoad OID value isqueried and displayed. The hrStorageEntry table of the HOST-RESOURCES-mib is also queried for the hrStorageUsed OID value for eachhrStorageIndex entry. The hrStorageUsed value is reported percentage of the hrStorageSize and graphed by value. The hrStorageTypes that are displayed are hrStorageRam, hrStorageVirtualMemory, hrStorageFixedDisk andhrStorageRamDisk. From RFC1213-MIB ( RFC1213) BPSNMPMon also sends SNMP queries for each ifIndex OID in the ifEntry table. Todetermine the host's in and out interface activity load the ifInOctets and ifOutOctets values are utilized. BPSNMPMon is a small but usefulutility that is easy to use and best of all BPSNMPMon is available free of charge and runs fine without installing anything! BPSNMPMondoesn't create any new registry-keys, change system settings or create hidden files on your computer. Simply remove the executable,configuration and help file and BPSNMPMon is completely removed from your computer.
